Supervision

A space to
think clearly.

Supervision offers you the opportunity to gain greater insight and understanding, while exploring and assessing the complexities of therapeutic work.

I offer supervision that is supportive, professionally grounded and relational, recognising the importance of both your clinical practice and your experience as a practitioner. Together, we can explore the complexities of client work, consider what may be happening within the therapeutic relationship and recognise the impact this work can have on you personally and professionally. My aim is to build a supervisory relationship where you feel comfortable speaking openly, asking questions and examining your practice, with room for curiosity, honest conversation and appropriate challenge.

Clinical supervision

Thoughtful, grounded and relational.

I provide supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists and trainees working across private practice, agencies and organisational settings

My supervisory approach is informed by the Seven-Eyed Model of supervision. This allows us to look at the client work itself, while also paying attention to the therapeutic relationship, the wider systems surrounding the work and what may be happening for you as the practitioner.

I work integratively, with a person-centred foundation and an understanding of a range of therapeutic modalities and approaches. This means that supervision can respond to you, your way of working and the particular setting you're working within, rather than expecting every practitioner or situation to fit the same model.

Space to reflect

Supervision can provide space to:

Supervision is somewhere to think openly about your work, develop confidence in your own judgement and continue to grow into the practitioner you want to be

Reflect on client work and therapeutic process

Explore relational dynamics and patterns

Develop confidence and your professional identity

Think through ethical questions and difficult decisions

Consider the emotional impact of the work

Navigate the realities of agency and private practice

Areas of experience and support

Supporting practitioners across varied work and settings.

I welcome supervisees working across a range of client presentations, settings, and stages of professional development.

Areas I can support with include

Trauma and the impact of earlier experiences

Work with children and young people

Anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional pressure

Relational dynamics and attachment patterns

Professionals and high-responsibility roles

Private practice and agency settings

Ethical reflection and professional development

Therapeutic relationship dynamics and process

Relationship and couples work

I work with qualified practitioners as well as trainees, and recognise that what you need from supervision will change depending on your experience, setting, modality and where you are in your professional development.

Supervision should feel collaborative and supportive, somewhere you can talk openly about the work, including the parts that feel difficult or uncertain, develop your practice and not feel as though you have to hold everything alone.

Organisations

Therapeutic and reflective supervision.

Alongside clinical supervision, I also offer reflective and therapeutic supervision within organisational settings, including schools, leadership teams, and professionals working in emotionally demanding roles.

This work recognises that supporting others often carries significant emotional responsibility , particularly within caring, safeguarding, leadership, and high-pressure environments.

Charlotte Wall professional supervision

Reflective supervision offers space to:

Think through complex situations

Consider the emotional impact of the work and the responsibilities involved

Support wellbeing and resilience within teams

Develop reflective leadership and communication

Pause and think, rather than always having to respond

I have experience working alongside schools and leadership teams, offering reflective spaces that support both individual wellbeing and the wider relational dynamics within organisations.
